Hello! My name is Yulissa Pereira and I recently became a Registered Dietitian. I completed my dietetic internship from the Rutgers School of Health Professions. Please feel free to look around and learn more about me and my experiences.
I was born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. When I was three years old my family moved to northern New Jersey where I spent most of my life. I also lived in Pittsboro, NC for two years where I was able to see Belted Galloway Cows on my way to school! When I moved back to New Jersey I attended one of the most diverse schools in the state. At CHS I learned more about different cultures and foods while graduating in the Top 10 of my class.

I graduated from Rutgers University, one of the most diverse universities in the United States. During my time there I've worked and participated in extra curricular activities that sparked my passion for community nutrition. I hope to work as a nutrition educator and a clinical dietitian in the future, along with obtaining a Master's in Public Health. During my free time I enjoy listening to music, baking desserts, and playing with my family's dogs. I also love visiting Smorgasburg with my friends. There's always so much food to taste!
